Who we are
Swich Sandwiches runs three sandwich shops in Bali, Indonesia: Berawa, Seminyak and Swich By The Waves on Legian Beach. This policy covers swichsandwiches.com. If you have a question about your information, email us at swich.ho@gmail.com.
What we collect on this website
Very little. You don't need an account to use this website, and there are no forms that send your information to us.
The order tray, the make-your-own form and the catering, wholesale and merch planners all work inside your browser. They build a WhatsApp message for you. Nothing reaches us until you open WhatsApp and choose to send that message yourself.
Orders and enquiries on WhatsApp
When you message one of our shops or our catering team on WhatsApp, we receive your WhatsApp name, your phone number and whatever you write to us, such as your order, pickup time, event details or name.
We use this only to reply to you and to prepare your order, quote or booking. We don't sell it, and we don't add you to marketing lists. WhatsApp itself is run by Meta, and its own privacy policy applies to how messages are delivered.
Saved on your device
To make ordering quicker, this website saves a few small settings in your browser's storage. They stay on your device and are never sent to us:
- Your Swich: the shop you starred as your favourite.
- How you like to order: delivery, takeaway or dine in.
- Your menu order list: the items you added on the Menu page. This is cleared when you close the tab.
You can remove these at any time by clearing your browser's site data for swichsandwiches.com.
Other services we link to
Some buttons take you to other services, which have their own privacy policies:
- GoFood (Gojek) for delivery orders.
- WhatsApp (Meta) for takeaway orders and enquiries.
- Google Maps for directions.
- Instagram and Facebook (Meta), and Spotify, for our social pages and playlist.
Once you leave our website, those services handle your information under their own terms. We don't receive what you do there, except for orders and messages you send to us.
Hosting and technical logs
Our website is hosted on WordPress with a hosting provider, and images are delivered through a content delivery network so the pages load quickly. Like almost every website, these services may record standard technical information when a page is requested, such as your IP address, browser type and the page you visited. This is used to keep the website secure and running, not to identify you.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we have from your messages, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email swich.ho@gmail.com or message the shop you ordered from, and we'll help.
Changes to this page
If the way this website works changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
